CEO / Aboriginal Liaison
Robby is a Wajarri-Nanda man, ‘Desert meets Sea’, from Yamatji Country. With over 15 years’ experience in the Mining industry as CEO of Mallard Contracting, he and his Company works tirelessly towards his vision of creating Opportunity and Choice for fellow Aboriginal Australians.
He does this through providing the opportunity to acquire trade skills, knowledge, training and employment to effect positive change in the lives of Individuals, their families and the communities in which they live in.
Areas of Expertise: Plumbing, Machine Operator, Maintenance works – residential and commercial, Road projects.
CHAD DUCKRELL
General Manager
Chad has over 20 years’ experience in multi-discipline projects across Mining and Minerals, Oil and Gas, Infrastructure, Building and Rail. He is passionate about applying his extensive knowledge and experience base to projects, and developing and implementing economic and efficient processes. Chad drives the continuing growth of Mallards, and is instrumental in enhancing Mallards overall business performance.
Areas of Expertise: Construction Management, Project Management, Life-cycle design solution planning, Design cost effective solutions, Scheduling, Implementing project specific plans and procedures.
LIAM mCDONALD
Operations & Commercial Manager
Liam is a highly qualified and experienced project delivery and commercial management professional with extensive multidisciplinary Australian, SE Asian and global executive and senior management experience.
His blended experience of construction, client side and overlapping general management relates to all aspects of civil infrastructure, mining infrastructure, engineering and property development commercial and project management (feasibility, tender, design, planning, construction, and final closeout claim preparation and negotiation).
Leading by example, Liam takes personal responsibility for the commercial, program, safety and quality outcomes of all projects and strives to inspire and mentor his project teams to achieve outstanding results.
DION PETRILLI
Construction Manager
Dion is a Registered Building Practitioner (BP 104343 with 20 years’ experience within the Construction/mining industry, combined with a diploma of building and construction and sound knowledge of AS/NCC Standards.
Dion offers experienced based supervision and advice to co-workers and clients alike.
Dion, along with his crew, like to pride themselves on a high level of workmanship and professional service.
Areas of Expertise: Supervision, Building Practitioner, Carpentry qualification, Knowledge of standards and regulations.
HILARY MORUP
HSEQ Manager
Hilary has over 17 years experience in HSEQ within the construction, Mining, Oil and Gas, Civil Construction and property maintenance sectors enhance by many years as a Professional Educator and specialising in HSEQ compliance activities including SMS documentation development and compliance auditing.
Whilst maintaining a firm commitment to completing projects in a timely manner, with attention to detail and adherence to challenging regulatory standards and industry best practice, she has developed excellent communication and time management skills, leading by example to contribute to successful team operations both at a site and an executive level.
